Waarheid is conformiteit tot feit of realiteit: dat is, de exacte overeenstemming met dat wat is, of is geweest, of zal zijn.

Evenzo is het spreken van de waarheid in exacte overeenstemming met dat wat is, of is geweest, of zal zijn.

And Jacob beheld the countenance of Laban, and, behold, it was not toward him as before.

And Jacob sent and called Rachel and Leah to the field unto his flock,
