Waarheid is conformiteit tot feit of realiteit: dat is, de exacte overeenstemming met dat wat is, of is geweest, of zal zijn.

Evenzo is de waarheid spreken in exacte overeenstemming met dat wat is, of is geweest, of zal zijn. ​
